ADOLESCENTS
Adolescence is a crucial period for physical, emotional, mental and social well-being and development.

In addition to these changes, adolescents face many social challenges such as meeting scholastic requirements, maintaining relationships, establishing their identity and figuring out who they want to be in life.

Whilst this period is often overwhelming and challenging for adolescents and their families, therapy provides a safe place to talk about problems and concerns versus holding them in. Therapy can also assist with learning more useful ways of communicating and coping with difficult emotions.

Therapy can be useful with addressing the following difficulties-
-
Emotional regulation
-
Self harming behaviours
-
Eating disorders
-
Trauma
-
Depression
-
Suicidality
-
Anxiety
-
Adjustment difficulties
